North Georgia is Expanding

A 10-County Region of Northwest Georgia is projected to grow by almost 500,000 people in the next 40 years.

 

The Governor's Office of Planning and Budget expects the Northwest Georgia region to grow by 494,477 people by the year 2050.  Some of the counties within the region are expected to double or even triple in size.
